Creating a Database

The Databases menu creates a database along with the user, password, and connection string automatically.

BEFORE YOU START

Open the Databases menu first — see Open the Databases Menu.

Steps to Create​

  1. Click the Create Database button.
  2. Fill in the form that appears:
    • Database Host → select an available database host.
    • Database Name → the database name. Letters, numbers, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.) are allowed, 3–48 characters long.
    • Connections From → the address allowed to connect. Leave empty to allow connections from anywhere (%).
  3. Click Create Database.

Once successful, the database will appear in the list. Continue to view its credentials:
